The Boys:
Rob
Rob is a B.F.A. musical theater major. He is pretty cool. He and Tiara
used to hang out at my house a lot, at the beginning of the year. As time goes on I see less and less of him. And most of
the theater kids say the same. Kind of makes me wonder what he does when he isn't in class. He doesn't seem to be the party
type but one never knows do one.
Jonathan
The more I get to know him the more talented I see he is. I think that if he
had been exposed to theater on an everyday basis he would be unstoppable. Sadly he has opted to leave the musical theatre
track for tech, I wish him the best.
Matt W.
He is a transfer
from the vocal music department. He is a freshman but is older than the rest of the class. He is in damn Yankees
as a baseball player.
Vince
He is interesting. He seems to
be the most removed from musical theater in our class. Instead all of his hobbies add up to equal musical theater. He played
the bass in the band for "Lucky Stiff." and I saw him naked at my Porn and Alcohol party. Since droped out of our program
The Girls
Annie
Annie is a B.F.A. musical theater major. She rocks! She is from New Jersey and has done semi professional
and professional theater. She is one of those belting divas. She is very cool in an anti sort of way. I enjoy her. We have
become very close over the last year. Franti is one of my best friends and means alot to me.
Ashley
Ashley is a B.F.A. musical theater major. She is super talented too. She has an amazing voice.
We go way back, she went to Olympic Heights, troupe 4992. They were always our rivals at thespian competitions. We just finished
a little musical called "Is There Life After High School" Her and Annie have been fighting and no longer speak.
Jen
Jen is a B.F.A. musical theater major. She is pretty cool. She is really diva singer dancer. At
first I thought she was a bitch but now I enjoy her a lot. She is from Miami and was in A Chorus Line at new world school
of the arts. We share that chorus line bond. She is moving in with her Gay Girlfriend.
Gay Girlfriend
She is Jen's "Friend" her and Jen are moving in together. Humm...
Mimi
She rocks! She is a B.F.A. musical theater gal. She is also a member of the ghetto fabulous team.
She was in Ain't Misbehavin' and kicked but in it. She sings "Find out what they like", one of my favorite songs in the show.
She is the mother of the B.F.A.'s. She was also played Gloria in Damn Yankees and Hubert in Nunsense. Mimi is always
looking for a ride. Most famously she needs to find someone to buy her a burger and a weave. And don't forget kids National
Mimi day is July 19, mark those calanders.
Kyle Ann
She is my new BF! She is my connection to the other half of the department (aka the BA crew). Her and I
just did a little musical called "Is There Life After High School" and we are currently in talks to do our own little production
of "Into The Woods" (that's right another into the woods) Kyle is designed for the fab new B-way musical Hairspray! She has
intimate feelings for Chris.
Sara Jones
She is very Jeanine-esque. I enjoy her. She is sort of a "fruit fly". She is a B.F.A. Musical theater major
and does a killer Ethel Merman. She is a crazy Kid!! The more time I spend with her the more I enjoy her.
Tiara
She is an intresting character. I first met her at my audition for the University of Florida. I only remember her because
she was dancing in front of me in the audition combo. She has since become a close friend. She at times has difficulty with
how she is percieved by our other class
mates. She and Jen are living together this semester.
Wit
She is the fab roommate of Annie. We share many childhood dreams. I always enjoy visiting with her and discussing the
figure skating adventures. But I must say the best thing about wit is that she knows more about musicals than most of the
B.F.A.'s and she is not even in the department.
Others In The Theater
Kyle
Kyle has a B.F.A. in piano from UCF and is a full time accompanist.
He is really attractive. But, he got married to some random girl last year, whats up with that. He is an amazing accompanist.
He plays for the musicals and most of the musical theater classes. I wish I knew him better, and then we could play duets.
Ryan O.
Ryan is a B.F.A. musical theater major. Many girls, too many girls, like him. Although a lot of them are convinced
he's gay, I think not. It is my impression that he is just an old fashion kind of guy. But just for the record I'm not in
the running. He was in Damn Yankees, as a chorus boy. He has dropped off the face of the earth.
R.J. 2
He was
what we call the flavor of the month for November 2001. It is a bit annoying that I only see him at random times. I enjoy
him. He is in B.F.A. performance. He has had an interesting life. He is a freshman at 23, humm. Anyway I don't really see
him at all now. Who is he?
Chris
Chris is very talented and was one of the first guys I saw on stage at UCF. I
think is a little out there at times. But is super nice. He also has a good eye for clothing. I sort of feel like he is one
of the stars of the football team, that is he is a big boy in the department. I also must add that I have a little crush on
him. I want to get to know him better. He recently came out as being gay and is coming back next year as an MFA. (Kyle thinks
he's super hott)
Wesley
He is a sophomore in B.F.A. musical theater. We went to high school together, and have
some history. He is very talented. He's was in the class I played the piano for so I saw him quite a bit last semester.
Julie
Ahh the girl I would go straight for. She is a musical theater diva. She has been the lead in tons of musicals. She reminds
me of Anne of green gables. I just enjoy her. I could get married to her and live happily ever after in our house with the
white picket fence. The beautiful miss Ruth can be found at Disney World playing Cinderella. Julie is a proud member of Actors
Equity
Jen J.
She is playing opposite me in Flame the musical a Lamb Chops. She is a lot of fun.
She comes from my hometown and actually lived only a few miles from me. She attended Sun Coast High. Im sure that we will
have many more adventures. She is a BFA Performance major.
The High School Peeps:
Katie
Katie is my Diva dancer friend. She lives in North Carolina with her boyfriend John a.k.a. "husband." She goes
to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a fabulous dancer with an emphasis in modern dance. Her and I met
way back in the day when we were waiting around in one of the drama rooms before a play. As we got older we had classes together
and the bonding commenced. She is one of my closest friends, she is one of those people who I feel like I can talk to about
anything.
Jeanine W.
Jeanine is a B.F.A. performance major at F.S.U. She is reminiscent of Auntie Mame. She has worked her ass off ever since
I met her. In high school she had three jobs at once. She is also undoubtedly the most sexual girl I have ever met. The "W"
stands for Whore. Jeanine was the first girl I ever came out to in high school. That was back when I like this guy named John,
whom we call "The Shoes" for national security reasons. Jeanine and I have spent many a wonderful years.
Michelle
Michelle is actually a
pre-coming out girlfriend. She is my Assmonkey (that is a term of endearment created by her) Her and I have been through a
lot. For one thing she was the first and only girl I have ever kissed. Her and I have a very special dynamic, when we are
together we play off each other well. She used to come to visit me in Orlando all the time, now I haven’t heard from
her in months. I miss her. Supposedly she was going to get married, I hope that
her life is working out for her.
Tina
Tina is my oldest friend.
We first met in middle school and have been friends ever since. We have been through a lot: men, booze, shows and more men.
I run her life and she runs mine. Next year she is going to move up to Orlando and we are going to reprise the good times.
Luke
Luke is a super cool guy. We spent four years riding the same bus, up to the middle of senior year when I got a car. He
is very free sprited and extreamly talented. He now goes to Juliard for dance. In the words of Katie I feel like I know a
movie star. I really enjoy him and hope we stay in touch.
